1) Test of Humility
Prideful people do not admit when they are wrong, because they are always trying to protect their image. A humble person is willing to admit when they are wrong. When a person admit they are wrong, they are recognizing that they are in error; which allows them to begin the process of repentance (important: recognizing that one has committed sin is not repentance, it begins the process of repentance). When one recognizes that they are on the wrong path, they can begin to search for the right path. For example, when a person recognizes that they are driving down the wrong street, they turn around and try to find the right street. Today, all wicked societies condemn themselves because they have created an atmosphere of fear, where people are too afraid to admit when they are wrong for fear of being sued. Thus, no politicians are willing to admit when they are wrong, so the societies continue to be led by them down the wrong path toward destruction.
2) Test of Intelligence
In order for a humble person to recognize that they are in the wrong; they need to have knowledge and understanding of what is right and what is wrong. Knowledge of what is right and what is wrong allows intelligent people to compare and contrast their behaviors with these two set of standards; thus allowing them to recognize whether they are on the right path or on the wrong path.
3) Test of Love
Fear is very paralyzing, it prevents a person from acting. Many movies showcase this effect with scene of children so fearful that they freeze, unable to move or act, peeing on themselves. Love overides fear, allowing a person to act. Notice, before Indy acts and takes the leap of faith, he puts his hand over his right chest (not over his left chest, where the heart is). Symbolically he is uncovering his heart. To uncover one's heart or to circumcise one's heart is to open up one's heart, i.e. to love.
4) Test of Courage To Take A Leap of Faith
Lion is symbolic of courage. To leap from the lion's mouth is to have the courage to take a leap of faith. The courage to take a leap of faith is another way of saying to have the will to act. To know and have recognition that one is on the wrong path is of no benefit, if that person does not have the will to act and change their behaviors. For example: if a person recognizes that he is driving down the wrong street but does not have the will to act and turn the car around; instead he continues to drive down the wrong street, then his recognition is of no benefit to him.
Violent wicked people are unable to take the leap of faith. They are unable to act unless they get complete and absolute proofs regarding a situation. The innocents and the penitents are able to act in spite of not having complete and absolute proofs. Now they are not acting on blind faith. They are taking the leap of faith based on having sufficient proof (i.e. intelligent faith). Notice Indy did not blindly jump off the cliff. His decision to jump was based on sufficient proof, provided by "the book" showing a man crossing it.
The Great Separation of violent wicked people from the innocents & penitents is based around this core understanding. While the wicked are sitting around, demanding conclusive proofs that societal & environmental collapse are happening before they will act. The innocents/penitents, recognizing that societal & environmental collapse are unfolding based on sufficient proofs, are busy gathering themselves together to evacuate out of harm's way.
" Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn." -- Matthew 13:30
So in order to repent and pass the final test (i.e. the final filtering process/ Great Separation). A person or a society needs the four components: humility, intelligence, love, and the courage to take a leap of faith. Which are all collectively dependent on knowing what sin and righteousness is. So what is sin? What is righteousness? Stay tuned to find out in future blogs.
